The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is close to restaurants and shops and a five minute walk from bus stops. Our room was updated and the use of the kitchen was a nice plus considering how expensive food is in Switzerland. One area for improvement was the key card system. The key card was tied to your phone, but every time you left the building wifi would drop so you'd need to reconnect to wifi to get the access activated again (we did not have cell service on all phones). Also, the furnishings were creative but did not have normal hotel shelves to unpack and spread out. The price was very competitive for the area and with the use of the kitchen, we paid a lot less for our total stay than if we stayed at a normal hotel. Also, there is a fantastic balcony on the top floor with beautiful views and tables to have a drink or relax. The hotel also has a luggage storage room on the first floor if you get there early and there are multiple public restrooms if are traveling with others and your room toilet is in use.

We loved the decor and atmosphere of this place. Everything was correct (cleanliness, location) and the price per night is expensive but in line with Swiss prices.

The stay at the hotel was just perfect. We stayed in for four nights and used it as a base to explore the region around. I read some reviews about difficulty in checking in or opening the door, but from my experience it was just seamless. Just follow the steps of checking in and you should be fine. The additional thing which I did was not to kill the page (webapp) from the browser. This helped me to open the doors as soon as I reached the hotel and connected to wifi (I didn’t have internet on my phone). I stayed in with my family, 2 adults and 2 kids. We all enjoyed our comfy rooms and the kitchen helped us to manage our breakfast quite well. Don’t forget to visit the owner at his amazing bar Spatz (around the corner at bridge). He can give you many helpful tips to explore the region. Would stay here again for sure.

This hotel was perfect for our family of 4. It was hard to find lodging for us since it was busy weekend but the apartment was available and everything was great. Check in was fine, not that simple but I was able to use their wifi. The only thing was that the apt was on the other side of the building and I had no idea where the room was. Location is great, walkable to both train stations, close to everything! Quiet area was nice. The apt had everything we needed, it was very cute and so spacious which was perfect for family with two kids. Also, separate bedroom was very helpful! Pretty decor and clean. The floor creaks a lot and when there were people upstairs, it was loud but didn't bother us that much. I had a lot of questions for the trip and Jan was very nice to help me! I walked by the cafe to say hi but it was closed for renovations. Overall, we loved staying here for the price. We don’t need much services so no one being there was fine. We only asked for fresh towels and the housekeeping lady gave us a lot! Thanks for making our stay amazing.
